Kobe Fishing Concerns began in 2008 as a modest effort group to support a Kenyan community comprising of some socially and economically vulnerable women and men we cared about. As trained and passionate fly tiers, the group very easily and quickly became focused on what we are now best known for – exquisite Kenyan fishing flies. These are works of skillful hand tying by local Kenyan men and women who use the vise to craft the best fly patterns used world over by renowned outfitters, guides and fly fishers of all ages. The craftsmanship on them speaks for itself.
